Tisi Stewart was born in Winslow, Arizona and spent her formative years in Southern Oregon. After completing her education, Tisi moved to California where she worked as a surgery assistant for a renowned Oral Surgeon. Passionate about patient career and realizing that there is more to health care than sparkly teeth, she changed direction and landed a position in the Hazel Hawkins Hospital laboratory where she has enjoyed being the Laboratory Assistants Supervisor since 1997.
Tisi has been a dedicated blood donor, donating as often as humanly possible since the age of 16. She also raised several thousand dollars as a longtime volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Tisi has been a volunteer shopper with the Small Steps SBC program that provides clothing and shoes for children in San Benito County that might not have access to receive these much-needed items.
The Foundation is excited to have Tisi as a Trustee and extends her a warm welcome.
