Director Environmental Services

Status/Shift: Full Time, Days
Position Summary/Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with 7-10 years of hospital. Environmental Services Supervision experience in an acute care hospital. Experience preparing for and maintaining Joint Commission Standards. Experience with Infection Control/waste management/disposal/recycling policies and procedures. Experience with overseeing housekeeping, custodial and janitorial activities throughout the Acute Care Hospital and SNFs including knowing and understanding all policies and procedures. Prior Union experience in CA within an acute care facility.

Certified Diabetes Educator

Position Summary/Requirements: A healthcare professional who is also a Certified Diabetes Educator, providing diabetes education in both a group and 1:1 setting. Must have 15 contact hours within the past year in diabetes and diabetes clinical and educational subject (as approved by the NCBDE). An in depth knowledge about current diabetes treatment management. The ability to lead and effectively manage groups and to develop a collaborative, therapeutic alliance with individuals. Must have superior patient service attitude and skills. BCLS Required.

Position Summary/Requirements:Possess current CA Registered Nurse license with a baccalaureate degree or higher, at least 3 years of experience in acute care or home health care. Able to manage/direct the home care program, employees and delivery of services for quality care, keeping the program financially stable. Knowledge of Medicare, Medical, private insurance and managed care coverage. Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, fiscal intermediary and accrediting regulations.

Position Summary/Requirements: Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. BCLS. Responsible for attaching electrodes and monitoring patients throughout the sleep study, collecting data and reporting this information to the physician.
