Certified Diabetes Educator

Status/Shift: Full Time, Days
Position Summary/Requirements: A healthcare professional who is also a Certified Diabetes Educator, providing diabetes education in both a group and 1:1 setting. Must have 15 contact hours within the past year in diabetes and diabetes clinical and educational subject (as approved by the NCBDE). An in depth knowledge about current diabetes treatment management. The ability to lead and effectively manage groups and to develop a collaborative, therapeutic alliance with individuals. Must have superior patient service attitude and skills. BCLS Required.

Position Summary/Requirements: Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist, level 1 or higher with at least 1 year experience, 1 year experience in clinic setting. Knowledge of EMR. Willing to work multiple sites within the organization. Current CPR required. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Position Summary/Requirements:Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree preferred. Three years experience in all aspects of critical care nursing and a minimum of one year management experience required.

Position Summary/Requirements:Possesses a current RN or LVN License in the State of California. Current COHN/COHN-S preferred. BLS certification. A minimum of five years experience in a healthcare environment. A minimum of one year experience in employee health, and/or occupational medicine, and clinic supervision preferred. A minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory position in a hospital or five years in infection control, preferred. Membership in AOHP (Association of Occupational Health Professionals) or similar organization preferred. Working knowledge of employee regulations and workers compensation. Working knowledge of infection control principles, current CDC and APIC standards & NHSN reporting.
