Position Summary/Requirements: Under minimum supervision, the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) has twenty-four (24) hour accountability and responsibility for planning, organizing, developing, directing, coordinating and evaluating nursing and ancillary services throughout the organization. Director of Infection Control & Emergency Preparedness- Req# HRC-046

Position Summary/Requirements: Directs the Infection Prevention (IP) Program within San Benito Health Care District (SBHCD) and Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital (HHMH) to ensure compliance with TJC, State and CMS regulations. Works in collaboration with hospital leaders to plan, coordinate, and evaluate IP program, policies and activities. Updates annual IP risk assessment, IP Plan with environmental, Programmatic, facility, and/or regulatory changes. Provides expert consultation and education to minimize healthcare associated infections and transmission among patients, staff, providers and visitors. Also responsible for coordinating the emergency preparedness program for HHMH to develop and implement action plans to prepare for internal and external disaster response. Position Summary/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or related field; minimum 3-5 years of experience considered in lieu of education. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, California Health Facilities Commission reporting requirements, data processing programs/procedures, and business machines necessary. Organized and coordinates all functions of the Accounting Department, including but not limited to preparation of the Hospital budget, maintenance of the general ledger system, ensuring proper accounting methods are used; preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements; oversees the maintenance of the fixed asset system, the third-party payor logging system, and Accounting staff; maintains Hospital insurance policies; prepares special reports and provides information and assistance to the external auditors.

Position Summary/Requirements: The Director of Quality provides operational and strategic leadership to support the SBHCD mission of delivering healthcare the community can trust. The Director works collaboratively with senior leadership, physicians, risk management, nursing, pharmacy and leadership to develop and implement a best-in-class hospital's quality and safety program and to ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation. Works closely with the CMO to develop, monitor, and educate others on the use of patient data systems that drive improvement and reporting of patient outcomes through the use of evidence-based data and scorecards. The Director works collaboratively with the organization's Compliance Office to implement, monitor and periodically update the organizations compliance plan.
