Foundation Receives $60K Grant from Hospice Giving Foundation – Hazel Hawkins Hospital Foundation

Hazel Hawkins Hospital Foundation is proud to announce it has received a grant in the amount of $60,000 from Hospice Giving Foundation. Hospice Giving Foundation has proudly awarded over $28 Million in grants for community-based support to promote personal choice, preparedness, and the highest standards of compassionate, dignified end-of-life care for individuals and their loved ones. Locally, the Hospice Giving Foundation has given over $1,090,000 over the last 19 years to help fund Hazel Hawkins Hospital’s Palliative Care Program.

The Palliative Care Program enjoys robust support from hospital medical leadership and administration. Steven M. Hannah, MHA, Chief Executive Officer, HHMH, says, “We are fortunate to have a team of caregivers at HHMH who provide exemplary service and compassion for patients experiencing the end stages of life. Our Palliative Care Program is an integral part of the care we provide, and we are privileged to offer this program to the community.
